Telko has more than 110 years of business. The company was established in 1908 with name Metalliteollisuuskonttori. Telko's roots are deep in the Finnish industry – the name of the company comes from the historical Suomen Teollisuuskonttori, which was established in 1917 and was specialized in imports of coal and coke.
Telko has always been serving local customers with products and solutions they need.
Present-day Telko was born in 2008 in the fusion of Aspo Chemicals and Kauko-Telko into Aspo, of which Telko is a subsidiary. The new company has since then become one of the leading distributors in selected markets. Telko is an international company with local presence in 17 countries.
In over hundred and ten years time Telko has grown into a multinational raw material distributor and process expert serving customers around the globe. Telko Values will guide the company forward in development to become a sustainability forerunner and preferred solution provider which will bridge the industrial customers and principals in a sustainable way.
